Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale cloud and data solutions.

The role involves defining cloud architecture strategies, building scalable data platforms, and driving data transformation initiatives on Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive enterprise-level data and cloud architecture strategy.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on GCP.

- Architect end-to-end cloud solutions covering data, application, and integration layers.

- Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines.

- Lead solution design using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.

- Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards, especially for Healthcare projects.

- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver business-driven solutions.

- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance to project teams.

- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

- Implement best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Required Experience & Expertise

- 12-15 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Cloud Architecture.

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Strong experience in defining and implementing cloud architecture strategies.

- Deep expertise in BigQuery and modern Data Warehousing solutions.

- Experience designing large-scale ETL/ELT and real-time data processing pipelines.

- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

- Expertise in Data Modeling, Performance Tuning, and Distributed Systems.

- Hands-on experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer and orchestration frameworks.

- Good understanding of Data Governance, Security, and Compliance standards.

- Experience in client-facing roles, solution architecture, and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.

- GCP Certifications such as Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect.

- Experience in the Healthcare domain with compliance exposure (HIPAA or similar).

- Experience in BFSI or enterprise-scale data transformation programs.

- Exposure to AI/ML-driven data platforms.
