About the Role :

We are seeking an exceptional Senior AI & Automation Engineer to lead the design and delivery of Artificial Intelligence, automation and workflow solutions that reduce manual effort across GI Outsourcing's end-to-end finance operations and power our next-generation platform. At the heart of our transformation strategy, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.

You will shape the automation roadmap, choose effective technical approaches, build production-ready solutions and mentor junior talent. Your work will improve productivity, quality, insight, auditability and scalability while maintaining strong financial and compliance controls. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges with technology and turning ideas into production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- AI Strategy & Solution Architecture : Own the AI and automation roadmap, prioritizing high-volume, repetitive and control-sensitive finance processes. Translate business and control needs into scalable architectures, delivery plans and measurable outcomes. Select secure, explainable AI, automation, integration and data patterns aligned with client controls. Assess emerging technologies and recommend high-value solutions aligned with business goals.

- AI Engineering & Development : Build and integrate production-ready AI applications, copilots, assistants, agents and retrieval systems using large language models, machine learning and NLP for queries, document search, coding support, reconciliations, reviews and reporting. Establish secure engineering standards for development, testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring, change control and support.

- Automation & Workflow Transformation : Design end-to-end automation, workflow orchestration and approval frameworks across finance, service delivery and support functions. Enhance controls for processes like reconciliations, trial-balance handoffs, tax workflows, approvals, audit trails and deadlines. Collaborate with process, operations, compliance and client-service teams to confirm requirements from service delivery and support functions, resolve exceptions and embed sustainable practices.

- Product & Platform Development : Advance the Finzo platform through scalable applications, cross-system integrations and reusable automation components across approved systems, subject to access and API availability. Move solutions from prototype to production with clear ownership, shared standards and monitoring to improve usability, adoption, performance and reliability.

- Leadership & Capability Building : Lead the automation portfolio, setting priorities, engineering standards, design quality and production governance. Mentor junior developers through coaching, reusable patterns, documentation and hands-on support. Build organizational AI and automation capability through training, knowledge sharing, experimentation and continuous improvement.

Required Experience :

- 5 - 10+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, automation, digital transformation or finance technology, with proven delivery of production-grade solutions.

- Strong expertise in workflow design, data validation, system integration, APIs, exception handling and operational controls, with the ability to turn finance requirements into scalable, high-value solutions.

Technical Skills Essential :

- Python; Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Platform Governance, Azure AI Services; Azure OpenAI; SQL; REST APIs; Git; DevOps practices; OCR/IDP, AI agents, workflow orchestration and analytics.

Desirable :

- Microsoft Copilot Studio; LangChain / LangGraph; OCR technologies; SaaS application development; finance operations applications.

- 6 - 12 months : deploys multiple working automations across core workflows, reduces manual processing effort, improves exception visibility, and embeds AI or automation into day-to-day operations.

- 12 - 24 months : Deploy proprietary AI and reusable automation capabilities that support Finzo's growth, reduce manual effort, improve scalability and quality, and deliver measurable gains in productivity, compliance, profitability, client experience and competitive advantage.
