Control System Engineer (Operational Technology)

Role Overview :

The Control Systems Engineer Operational Technology will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and commissioning advanced control solutions for global industrial applications. This role demands strong technical expertise in PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems with a deep understanding of industrial utilities and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. You will work as part of a global technology team following Agile methodologies, contributing to innovative OT and IoT enabled solutions with a strong focus on quality, design excellence, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand and analyze detailed customer requirements.

- Perform P&ID analysis, wiring diagram reviews, and cross checks against equipment lists and signal exchange lists.

- Prepare I/O lists, allocate I/O in controllers, and develop control logic based on operational concepts.

- Manage software versions, configure virtual machines for testing, and conduct simulation-based validation.

- Write, test, and validate application code including failure mode testing methodologies.

- Execute programs and projects with strong ownership, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.

- Lead and participate in Controls Acceptance Tests with customers.

- Provide commissioning, start-up support, and troubleshoot control system issues at customer sites.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify scope, identify risks, and ensure smooth delivery of control solutions.

- Work within Agile Scrum teams to co-create and implement technology solutions.

- Apply control theory and mathematical modeling to design control systems that meet functional requirements.

- Technology Industrial IOT, Embedded Software Control Systems & Acquisition Systems SCADA, Technology Industrial IOT, Embedded Software PLC.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or masters in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
