Camera C++ Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of Androidbased camera solutions for automotive infotainment and cockpit systems. The role focuses on building robust, highperformance camera stacks, integrating with Android HAL, and ensuring seamless operation across powerstate transitions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain Camera HAL components and Android Camera Framework integrations for automotive platforms.

- Develop and optimize camera suspendtoRAM functionality to meet powerefficiency targets.

- Apply objectoriented design principles, design patterns, and software architecture best practices to create scalable code.

- Conduct multithreaded programming, memory management, and performance tuning to achieve realtime requirements.

- Write unit tests using frameworks such as Google Test and ensure code quality through continuous integration.

- Manage source code with Git, configure builds using CMake or Makefiles, and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.

Required Skills :

- 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Infotainment/Cockpit Android Camera Development/Design for automotive electronic systems.

- Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11, C++14, or later) and standard libraries (STL).

- Hands-on experience with Camera HAL development and proficiency in Android Camera Framework.

- Experience with Android Camera SuspendToRam.

- Solid grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, and software architecture.

- Familiarity with multi-threading, memory management, and performance optimization in C++.

- Experience with version control (Git), build systems (CMake, Makefiles), and unit testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test).
