About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior/Lead Data Scientist who can drive end-to-end data science initiatives from problem definition to production deployment.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in predictive modelling, experimentation, and building scalable ML solutions that deliver real business impact.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and advanced analytics solutions to solve business problems.

- Lead A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to drive data-driven decision making.

- Work on data wrangling, feature engineering, and model development using Python.

- Build and scale machine learning pipelines in production environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, business stakeholders).

- Lead and mentor a team of Data Scientists; provide regular updates to stakeholders.

- Work within Agile frameworks to deliver iterative and high-impact solutions.

- Ensure model performance, scalability, and reliability in production.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-10+ years of experience in predictive modelling, analytics, and data science.

- Strong proficiency in Python (data analysis, modelling, and data wrangling).

- Expertise in experiment design and A/B testing methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and NLP tools (NLTK, spaCy).

- Experience with big data and distributed computing tools like Spark.

- Knowledge of data streaming (Kafka) and ETL processes.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Masters degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

- Experience working in Agile environments (Lean, XP, etc.).

Good to Have:

- Experience with ML pipeline tools: Spark, Airflow, MLflow.

- Exposure to containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow.

- Experience in model deployment and low-latency systems.

- Hands-on with deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

- Prior experience in productionizing ML models at scale.
