About the Role

We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented and highly skilled WordPress Developer who has
strong experience in WordPress web development and full deployment lifecycle from
website creation, hosting setup, optimisation, and security, to troubleshooting and maintenance.
The ideal candidate should be able to convert UI/UX designs into high-quality responsive
WordPress websites, manage hosting & server infrastructure, resolve production issues, and
continuously improve performance and security.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor / WP Bakery / Custom Themes / Plugins.

- Convert Figma / design prototypes into functional, visually accurate web pages.

- Manage and configure domain, hosting setup, cPanel, DNS, SSL certificates, backups and server migrations.

- Handle bug fixing, performance optimization, speed improvement (Core Web Vitals) and responsive compatibility.

- Implement and manage WordPress security, malware scanning, firewall, and vulnerability prevention.

- Troubleshoot plugin conflicts, server issues, database errors, downtime and email configuration issues (SMTP).

- Manage website updates, version control, backups & WordPress upgrades.

- Integrate third-party APIs / webhooks / payment gateways when needed.

- Coordinate with design and content teams to implement feature enhancements.

- Ensure website reliability, uptime monitoring & scaling ability for high-traffic loads.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience in WordPress CMS, Custom Theme Development, Plugin configuration.

- Advance knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL.

- Experience with cPanel / WHM / Cloud Hosting / AWS / Google Cloud / DigitalOcean.

- Strong ability to fix website crashes, malware attacks, speed issues & server technical problems.

- Familiarity with SEO best practices, caching layers and optimization tools (e.g., WP Rocket, Cloudflare).

- Experience working with Git, backup workflows & staging environments.

- Understanding of security protocols, SSL, firewalls, CDN, backup & restore management.

- Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership attitude.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with WooCommerce

- Experience in API / plugin development

- Knowledge of GA4, Tag Manager and analytics tools

- Basic UI/UX understanding to interpret design intent
