Job Overview :

We are seeking a BI & Analytics Expert with strong expertise in designing and delivering enterprise-grade analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to build scalable semantic models, interactive dashboards, and self-service analytics solutions using Looker, BigQuery, and related GCP services.

This role requires a blend of strong technical skills, data modeling expertise, and client-facing communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain BI and analytics solutions on Google Cloud

- Build and manage LookML semantic models, Explores, and derived tables in Looker

- Develop interactive, performance-optimized dashboards for enterprise stakeholders

- Enable self-service analytics using Looker and Looker Studio

- Work with BigQuery to design analytics-ready datasets, including scheduled queries and transformations

- Implement row-level security and authorized views in BigQuery

- Optimize query performance through partitioning, clustering, and query tuning

- Support business users with Connected Sheets for BigQuery-based reporting

- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical solutions

- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and scalability across BI solutions

Technical Skills Required :

- Looker : LookML modeling, Explores, dashboards

- Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) for self-service reporting

BigQuery analytics :

- Scheduled queries

- BI Engine

- Slots and workload management

- Semantic layer design using LookML views and derived tables

- BigQuery row-level security and authorized views

- Connected Sheets for BigQuery data analysis in Google Sheets

- Advanced SQL performance optimization (partitioning, clustering, execution plans)

- Power BI or Tableau experience with BigQuery connectors

Experience & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in BI and analytics

- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Looker or BigQuery

- Successfully delivered 2 or more LookML projects or enterprise dashboard implementations

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication skills with experience in client-facing roles and requirements gathering

Preferred Attributes :

- Experience working with enterprise or large-scale data environments

- Understanding of analytics best practices, governance, and data modeling standards

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client deliverables
