About the Role :

Bajaj Finserv Health Limited is looking for a highly skilled Lead / Senior Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making and build advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, predictive analytics, and data engineering, with the ability to translate business challenges into scalable data science solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems.

- Analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights and recommendations.

- Build predictive models, recommendation engines, forecasting solutions, and optimization frameworks.

- Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and analytics teams to identify opportunities for data-driven innovation.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines and model deployment workflows.

- Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model validation.

- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.

- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in data science and machine learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6 to 8 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.

- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data manipulation libraries.

- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

- Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.

- Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong understanding of model deployment, MLOps, and production-grade AI solutions.

- Knowledge of NLP, Generative AI, Deep Learning, or Recommendation Systems is an added advantage.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in healthcare, fintech, insurance, or digital platforms.

- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.

- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and business analytics.
