Function : Software Engineering - Backend Development

As a Backend Engineer, you'll consistently raise the bar for user experience - fast, personalized, and seamless. You'll work closely with our product, design, and frontend teams to deliver scalable features that delight customers. The backend developer will have an immediate impact on our business success. Responsibilities :

- Lead the development of a high-performance, scalable backend application using FastAPI.

- Architect database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure data consistency in PostgreSQL.

- Implement caching strategies and background jobs with Redis.

- Leverage AI and LLMs to enhance user experience - from smart recommendations to intelligent search, personalization, and automation in the backend workflows.

- Own entire feature cycles from concept to production, instrumentation, iteration, and testing.

- Build internal dashboards and support data-driven decisions.

- Collaborate with diverse teams to build impactful customer-facing features.

- Promote clean, maintainable code across the codebase.

- Resolve any problems existing in the system.

- Comfortable picking up new tools or stacks as needed.

Requirements :

- 2+ years of experience in backend development with Python, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

- Built and scaled backend systems from scratch.

- Strong grasp of system design, API design, and database optimization.

- Passionate about clean code, ownership, and building things that scale.

- Experience working with REST APIs, Git, and deployment workflows.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a product-focused mindset.

- Experience with analytics and debugging tools.

- Background in e-commerce, checkout flows, or dynamic product listings.

- Startup experience or experience working in a fast-paced agile team.

- B. E. /B. Tech in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience working with Elasticsearch or ML models.
