Role Overview :

As an Azure Data Engineer at Sysmind Tech, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines on the Azure cloud platform. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into efficient and reliable data solutions. Your work will directly impact the ability of our clients to gain actionable insights from their data, driving business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the Azure data lake.

- Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary data infrastructure.

- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues to minimize downtime and ensure data availability.

- Contribute to the development of data engineering best practices and standards to improve the overall quality of our data solutions.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement data solutions on the Azure cloud platform, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.

- Proven experience in building and maintaining data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and storage.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering.
