Role & responsibilities :

C++ / Embedded Systems Engineer (Mid to Senior Level)

Job Summary :

We are looking for skilled C++ / Embedded Engineers with strong experience in Linux-based systems, firmware development, and modern software development practices including Agentic SDLC. The ideal candidate will work on high-performance systems, contribute to system design, and ensure robust testing and build processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C++

- Work on embedded systems and firmware-level development

- Develop and optimize software for Linux-based environments

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile / Agentic SDLC setup

- Build and maintain test frameworks for validation and automation

- Work on build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling

- Perform debugging, performance tuning, and system optimization

- Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices

- Contribute to system architecture and design discussions

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Core Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C++ (Modern C++ C++11/14/17)

- Experience in Embedded Systems development

- Solid understanding of Linux OS (kernel, drivers, system programming)

- Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and OOP concepts

Development Practices :

- Experience with Agentic SDLC / AI-assisted development workflows (or exposure to modern SDLC practices)

- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

Testing & Tools :

- Experience in Test Frameworks (Unit Testing, Integration Testing)

Hands-on experience with :

1. Build tools : Make, CMake, Bazel

2. Version control : Git

3. CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions preferred)

Additional / Good to Have :

- Experience in Firmware Development

- Knowledge of device drivers, RTOS, or hardware interfacing

- Exposure to automation and scripting (Python/Shell)
