We are looking for an Android Developer with strong experience in AAOS/AOSP, Kotlin/Java, Android Framework, and embedded automotive systems. The role involves developing and debugging Android-based automotive solutions, working with system-level components, IPC mechanisms, and vehicle hardware interfaces.

- Develop and maintain Android-based solutions for Automotive Android / AAOS environments.

- Work with AOSP and Android Framework components to develop and customize system-level functionality.

- Develop applications and system components using Kotlin and Java.

- Work with Android IPC, Binder, and AIDL for inter-process communication.

- Integrate Android software with vehicle hardware and embedded systems through VHAL/HAL interfaces.

- Work with Android SDK and platform APIs for automotive use cases.

- Debug and troubleshoot application, framework, system, and device-integration issues.

- Analyze logs, crashes, performance issues, and system behavior to identify and resolve defects.

- Collaborate with embedded, hardware, platform, and other engineering teams for device and vehicle integration.

- Participate in design, development, testing, integration, and deployment of automotive Android solutions.

Required Skills:

- 3 - 7 years of experience in Android development, preferably in automotive or embedded environments.

- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java.

- Experience with AAOS and/or AOSP.

- Strong understanding of the Android Framework and Android SDK.

- Hands-on experience with Binder/IPC and AIDL.

- Experience with VHAL/HAL and Android-to-hardware/device integration.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including Android logs and system-level issues.

- Understanding of embedded systems and device integration.

- Experience with Git and standard software development practices.

- Automotive/connected-car/infotainment experience is preferred.
