The Advanced Analytics team operates within IT Delivery as the core analytical engine of the business. We generate actionable insights, automate critical processes, and build end-to-end data solutions, primarily supporting Supply Chain and Commercial domains. We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics solutions. While the core focus of this role centers on data science and machine learning, you will also work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into end-to-end scalable data products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Requirement Gathering & Solutioning : Collect and translate business requirements from stakeholders (Product Managers, Information Management, and Data Engineers) into robust technical architectures and machine learning solutions.

- Model Development & Analytics : Design, build, and maintain predictive and prescriptive machine learning models using Python, PySpark, Scikit-learn, and SQL.

- End-to-End Deployment : Deploy data science models into production environments leveraging Azure and Databricks cloud infrastructure.

- Reporting & Data Visualization : Develop advanced, interactive PowerBI reports and dashboards to communicate data insights to business leadership.

- Data Engineering & Wrangling : Process and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets using Pandas, NumPy, Spark, and SQL.

- Agile Collaboration : Operate within a DevOps / Agile framework, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

Basic Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech), MCA, or equivalent practical experience.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience with core ML and data libraries (PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib). Cloud platform experience with Azure.

- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining PowerBI reports and business intelligence dashboards.

Soft Skills :

- Strong communication skills, collaborative team-player mindset, and a strong curiosity for data-driven problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications :

Education :

- Masters degree (M.Sc./M.Tech) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.

Domain Knowledge : Prior experience working with Supply Chain or Commercial analytics.

Methodology :

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and modern DevOps practices.
