About the Role :

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled AI Prompt Engineer to design, optimize, and manage prompts for Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based applications.

The ideal candidate will work closely with AI engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to improve AI outputs, automate workflows, and enhance user experiences across AI-powered solutions.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, experimentation skills, and a deep understanding of natural language processing, conversational AI, and prompt optimization techniques.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models.

- Create prompt workflows to improve response accuracy, consistency, relevance, and safety.

- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product teams to build AI-powered applications and automation solutions.

- Conduct prompt testing, evaluation, benchmarking, and performance tuning for different use cases.

- Develop reusable prompt libraries, templates, and prompt engineering best practices.

- Fine-tune prompts for applications including chatbots, content generation, summarization, classification, and data extraction.

- Analyze AI model outputs and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

- Work with structured and unstructured data to enhance AI response quality.

- Implement guardrails, compliance measures, and responsible AI practices.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering methodologies.

- Support integration of AI models through APIs and AI frameworks.

- Document prompt logic, workflows, testing methodologies, and optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of Generative AI, NLP, and Large Language Models (LLMs)

- Experience working with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, or similar AI platforms

- Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques including :

- Zero-shot prompting

- Few-shot prompting

- Chain-of-thought prompting

- Role-based prompting

- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

- Familiarity with Python and AI/ML libraries

- Experience using APIs and AI integration frameworks

- Understanding of vector databases and embeddings is preferred

- Knowledge of AI evaluation metrics and model behavior analysis
