Job Description : Embedded Project Manager

ACL Digital is hiring an Embedded Project Manager with experience in embedded systems, firmware architecture, and Industrial IoT.

The role requires expertise in embedded software development, low-level programming, hardware debugging, and communication with customers based in the US and Europe. The candidate should also have experience in strategic account management and long-term account growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage customer communication with US- and Europe-based customers.

- Drive strategic account management and support long-term account growth.

- Apply embedded firmware architecture expertise in the Industrial IoT domain.

- Work with processor and microcontroller architectures, bare-metal programming, RTOS, and device driver development.

- Handle Linux kernel programming, multi-threaded applications, and low-level driver development.

- Work with Linux distributions and build systems, including Yocto, OpenWRT, and Makefiles.

- Apply expertise in bootloader development, including U-Boot, and embedded system bring-up.

- Work with wireless technologies and networking protocols used in embedded applications.

- Debug hardware and low-level firmware using schematics and specialized debugging tools.

- Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code in an Agile environment.

- Work with embedded GUI development using Qt or similar frameworks.

Required Skills :

- Programming : C, C++, Python, Object-oriented programming, data structures, design patterns.

- Embedded Systems : Firmware architecture, BSP development, board bring-up, bare-metal, RTOS, device drivers, Linux kernel, bootloaders (U-Boot).

- OS/Build Systems : Linux kernel, Yocto, OpenWRT, Makefiles, multi-threaded applications.

- Interfaces/Protocols : PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, MDIO, RS-232, RS-485, MODBUS, CAN, TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, HTTP, GSM, GPRS, REST APIs.

- Wireless : Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, Thread, BLE, Wi-Fi, Sub-GHz.

- Debugging : Schematics review, PCB debugging, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG, KGDB, GDB, Valgrind, static analysis.

- Cloud/GUI : AWS/Azure, Qt framework.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience in embedded systems and Industrial IoT applications.

- Hands-on experience with BSP, board bring-up, and low-level firmware development.

- Experience with hardware debugging, wireless technologies, and embedded communication interfaces.

- Experience in embedded GUI development using Qt or similar frameworks is advantageous.
