Senior Software Engineer Full Stack (Node.js + React/Next.js)

Role Overview :

A hands-on full-stack engineer responsible for building end-to-end capabilities for FLX ONE Cargo (F1C). The role involves developing production-ready backend services and user-facing applications, with a strong focus on code quality, scalability, and technical ownership.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and evolve backend services using Node.js.

- Develop frontend applications using React/Next.js.

- Own end-to-end features from API to UI.

- Debug, optimise, and support production systems.

- Write clean, modular, maintainable, and well-tested code.

- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

- Own service reliability, performance, observability, and production support.

- Collaborate with Tech Leads, Architects, Product, and other engineers.

- Support and mentor early-career engineers.

What You Bring :

- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.

- Strong experience in both Node.js backend and React/Next.js frontend development.

- Experience building and operating cloud-native services on AWS or equivalent platforms.

- Good understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of ownership.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in airline, cargo, logistics, or integration-heavy enterprise domains.

- Familiarity with modular architectures and incremental migration approaches.

- Exposure to CI/CD, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code.

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
