Job Overview :

We are looking for IT/OT Integration and Convergence Engineers to work on industrial automation, smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidates will have experience integrating industrial equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and MES systems with IT applications, databases, cloud platforms, and modern industrial data architectures. Depending on experience, candidates will contribute to integration development, system implementation, architecture design, industrial data streaming, predictive maintenance, and industrial AI/LLM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and support IT/OT integration solutions connecting shop-floor equipment with enterprise IT systems and cloud platforms.

- Integrate PLCs, SCADA systems, MES platforms, and industrial devices with databases, APIs, and data processing applications.

- Work with industrial communication protocols, including OPC UA and MQTT, for real-time data acquisition and exchange.

- Develop Python scripts and applications for industrial automation, data processing, and integration workflows.

- Configure, develop, and support Ignition SCADA applications, including tags, alarms, dashboards, and device connectivity.

- Work with SQL databases and REST APIs to enable data exchange between industrial and enterprise systems.

- Implement PLC-to-cloud connectivity and industrial data pipelines using suitable integration technologies.

- Design and support event-driven data architectures using Apache Kafka and related streaming technologies.

- Apply ISA-95 principles and Unified Namespace (UNS) concepts to improve industrial data interoperability.

- Support industrial analytics and predictive maintenance use cases using equipment and sensor data.

- Contribute to industrial AI/LLM applications for maintenance support, equipment troubleshooting, and manufacturing intelligence.

- Troubleshoot connectivity, data quality, integration, and performance issues across IT and OT environments.

- Collaborate with automation, software, data engineering, cloud, and manufacturing teams.

- Maintain technical documentation and follow industrial cybersecurity and engineering best practices.
