Position : SDE II

Overview :

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) with strong backend engineering expertise to build scalable, high-performance systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Node.js-based architectures, databases, caching systems, and search technologies, and will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining core backend services.

This role is suited for engineers who can work independently, take ownership of modules, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you will do :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js.

- Build and optimize APIs and backend systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Work extensively with databases such as MongoDB.

- Implement caching and data optimization strategies using Redis.

- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and system stability.

- Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and drive long-term fixes.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

What we are looking for :

- Minimum 3 years+ of hands-on experience in Node.js development.

- Strong knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Unit Testing.

- Experience building scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.

- Good understanding of asynchronous programming and backend system design.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of React.js.

- Knowledge of Angular.

- Experience with Neo4j or graph databases.
