Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in network security, firewall technologies, and enterprise network architecture. The candidate should have hands-on experience in implementation, deployment, and migration of network and security solutions. This role requires involvement in design (HLD/LLD), execution, and on-site project delivery, especially for government projects.

Job Description :

- In depth understanding on Firewall Architecture.

- Experience in designing and deploying Firewall, IPS and similar technologies NGFW, NAC/AAA, UTM, NGIPS etc.

- LAN, WAN, as well as Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN connectivity.

- Device Hardening, IDS/IPS, Firewalls and IPsec VPN.

- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with site-to-site VPN technologies, including IPsec, GRE, mGRE, DMVPN, FlexVPN, and cloud-based VPN integrations (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) for secure and scalable inter-site connectivity.

- Hands-on experience with Remote Access VPN solutions using protocols like SSL VPN, IPsec IKEv2, and AnyConnect, including integration with RADIUS/LDAP, posture checks, and endpoint compliance policies.

- Should have hands-on knowledge of concepts (NAT, ACL, Access Groups, IPsec, AAA) and be able to troubleshoot network Protocols.

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass for Network Access Control (NAC) design and implementation.

- In-depth knowledge of 802.1X authentication, RADIUS, and TACACS+ protocols and integration with identity stores (e.g., AD, LDAP).

- Proven experience designing and deploying NAC use cases, including :

1. Posture Assessment & Compliance

2. Guest Access Portals and Onboarding

3. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) onboarding and control

4. Profiling and policy enforcement

- Ability to create and troubleshoot authentication and authorization policies, device profiles, and endpoint compliance checks.

- Excellent understanding on Routing protocol like OSPF, BGP, ACL, licensing; Switching - VLAN, VTP, STP, inter VLAN routing, HSRP, ether channel, should have understanding & knowledge on VSS technology, stacking.

- Configuration, Implementation and Troubleshooting experience on Next generation firewalls such as Cisco- FTD-21xx, 4xxx, 9xxx series ASA-55XX series, VM appliance, Palo alto-PA-3200, 5200, 7000 series and VM appliance, Fortigate-800, 900, 1000-7000 Series and VM appliance, Checkpoint3000, 6000 series.

- Reviewing and validating High Level Design, Low Level design and Acceptance test.

- Should have experience at least working on 2 to 3 projects at the organization level.

- Understanding of Designing and Implementation of Data Center for Network Security.

- Work closely with customers, project managers and other engineers to develop customized Network.

- Work closely with the Project Manager in project planning, status reporting and ensure adherence to.

- Aware of resilience disciplines - availability, security, scalability, reliability, etc.

Good To Have :

- Understanding or experience in Load Balancing technologies.

- Understanding or experience in Sandboxing and Anti-APT.

- Understanding or experience in configuring devices through API.

- Understanding or experience in NAC and endpoint security.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting in any Firewalls.

- 3+ years relevant and hands-on experience in Security Technologies.

- Strong understanding of network and security infrastructure.

- Experience in Security Infrastructure deployment for large scale production.

- Configuring and Maintaining firewalls, virtual private networks, web protocols, and email security.

- Good negotiation and convincing skills.

- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

- Knowledge of Network infrastructure deployment.

- Strong practical knowledge of troubleshooting Routing and Switching.
