Key Responsibilities :

- Analyse Azure security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and compliance findings from security tools, audits and assessments.

- Define remediation plans and implement fixes directly within Terraform modules, Terraform codebases and Azure infrastructure.

- Work through prioritised backlogs of security findings and drive remediation through to validation and closure.

- Secure Azure environments across identity and access management, RBAC, network security, segmentation, logging, monitoring and governance controls.

- Refactor and enhance Terraform modules to improve security, scalability, maintainability and compliance.

- Implement policy-as-code and automated security validation using tools such as Checkov, Sentinel or Open Policy Agent.

- Integrate cloud security and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform root cause analysis of recurring infrastructure security issues and implement preventative controls.

- Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps, platform engineering and security teams to implement changes safely and efficiently.

- Document remediation actions, technical decisions, residual risks and closure evidence.
