Key Responsibilities :

- Code and develop the core backend system of our email marketing platform.

- Develop new modules for : Campaign management (scheduling, segmentation, automation).

- Tracking & analytics (open/click/bounce/unsubscribe reports).

- Integrate with third-party SMTP & email APIs.

- Improve email deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, domain warm-up).

- Implement compliance features (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, unsubscribe handling, suppression lists).

- Optimize platform performance to handle large-scale email sending.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to build intuitive dashboards.

- Write clean, scalable, and testable Python code.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong knowledge of Python

- Experience in email delivery systems SMTP protocols, bulk email sending, and deliverability.

- Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL (database design, optimization).

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks.

- Strong understanding of email marketing workflows.

- Experience with email tracking (open/click pixels, bounce handling).

- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email templates.

- Minimum 3+ years of Python development experience, with at least 1+ year working on an email/SaaS product.

- Must have core experience with developing a similar platform earlier.
