- Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Cypress, Puppeteer, or Protractor with Golang.

- Perform API automation testing using Cucumber with Java, SoapUI, or Postman.

- Execute integration testing focusing on REST calls, API calls, and microservices.

- Build and maintain reference applications and review/edit API documentation for clarity and accuracy.

- Develop test cases that align with operational deployment scenarios.

- Conduct performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools to ensure system reliability and scalability.

- Utilize Google Dev Tools for debugging and enhancing test coverage.

- Work closely within Agile teams to continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.

- Maintain regression test suites and ensure comprehensive functional test coverage throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and operations to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (BE/BTech/MTech) or MCA.

- 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Engineer.

- Strong proficiency in UI automation with Cypress, Puppeteer, or Protractor, preferably using Golang.

- Experience with API testing frameworks such as Cucumber (Java), SoapUI, or Postman.

- Expertise in integration testing of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.

- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with Google Dev Tools and debugging browser-based applications.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project life cycle.

- Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Angular and DevOps practices.

Desirable Skills :

- Programming skills in Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

- Strong knowledge of Automation architecture and continuous integration frameworks.

- Experience with test documentation and API documentation standards.
