Job Summary :

A Jasper Reports Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Jasper Reports/Jaspersoft. The role involves analyzing reporting requirements, extracting and transforming data, and delivering scalable reporting solutions that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize reports using Jasper Reports/Jaspersoft Studio.

- Integrate reports with databases (SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and applications.

- Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Develop queries, stored procedures, and data models to support reporting needs.

- Customize reports with parameters, sub-reports, charts, and dashboards.

- Ensure reports are accurate, user-friendly, and performant.

- Maintain and troubleshoot existing reports and reporting infrastructure.

- Collaborate with developers, BI teams, and business analysts to ensure data consistency and reporting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Jasper Reports/Jaspersoft Studio.

- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.

- Knowledge of Java for report customization and integration.

- Experience in ETL, data modeling, and BI tools (nice to have).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
