About the Role :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services

- Build and optimize core business logic, workflows, and service layers

- Design and manage scalable, reliable, and efficient databases

- Implement security best practices, authentication/authorization, and data protection

- Add logging, monitoring, and performance optimizations to ensure system reliability

- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical planning

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues efficiently

- Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams to deliver end-to-end features

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices concepts, and backend architecture

- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), data modeling, and query optimization

- Educational background in Engineering / MCA

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Good to Have :

- Experience working in early-stage startups or building zero-to-one products

- Exposure to cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization

- Familiarity with performance tuning, caching, and scalability patterns

- Understanding of security standards and best practices for backend systems
