The Opportunity :

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to join the Authorization domain within equensWorldline, part of our Authorisation and Switching Department.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of software solutions for processing electronic payments using our Worldline Pay Front Office platform.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead technical initiatives, and contribute to product enhancements that support high-performance, secure payment processing.

Location : Pune

Experience : 10+ years of relevant experience in IT services and software development

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop robust software solutions for electronic payment processing based on the Worldline Pay Front Office authorization and switching suite

- Align with Service Delivery teams to understand business and technical requirements

- Coordinate and plan development activities with the Instance Owner, Scrum Master, and Senior Developers

- Write, implement, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and reliable C++ code

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for developed features

- Review test results and refine code to meet functional and non-functional requirements

- Conduct code reviews, perform quality checks, and ensure compliance with development standards

- Maintain, enhance, and upgrade existing systems and software modules

- Implement customer-specific or product-specific customizations and extensions

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for software modules and modifications

- Mentor, train, and support junior team members to build technical expertise

Skills We Cant Do Without (Must Have) :

- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and IT services

- Strong expertise in C++ and object-oriented programming

- Hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling

- Experience working in a Continuous Development environment with CI/CD pipelines

- Good knowledge of Git and UNIX

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- High level of curiosity, proactiveness, accountability, and adaptability

- Ability to work seamlessly in an international, scaled Agile environment

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Skills Wed Like (Nice to Have) :

- Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments

- Ability to operate in advanced, fast-paced technical landscapes

- Experience or knowledge related to Cloud technologies

- Experience with DevOps practices

- Background in electronic payments-Acceptance, Acquiring, or Issuing

- Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers
