Wolters Kluwer - Senior .Net Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality applications using C# and .NET technologies.

- Apply object-oriented design principles and leverage software design patterns to deliver robust solutions.

- Build and integrate RESTful web services and modern web applications.

- Work with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL), including writing, tuning, and troubleshooting SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software in an Agile environment.

- Participate in code reviews, TDD, pair programming, CI/CD pipeline practices, and contribute to improving engineering best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance of applications in both Windows and Linux environments.

- Ensure adherence to application security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with C# and the .NET framework.

- 3+ years of experience in object-oriented design and software design patterns.

- 3+ years of experience developing REST web services and web applications.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, pair programming, and code reviews.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency in both C# and Java.

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Oracle databases.

- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and scripting with UNIX shell.

- Exposure to data/content pipelines and Agile software development.

- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
