Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Web/App Technical Architect (MERN Stack) to lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), cloud-native application development, and modern architectural patterns. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead technical architecture and provide strategic guidance for enterprise web and mobile application platforms.

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architecture aligned with business and technology standards.

- Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.

- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define solution architecture and technology roadmaps.

- Evaluate frameworks, tools, and technologies while maintaining Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).

- Guide development teams on technology selection, implementation strategies, and best practices.

- Design architecture for web applications, mobile applications, Single Sign-On (SSO), API integrations, and eCommerce platforms.

- Conduct architecture and design review sessions to ensure quality, scalability, security, and compliance.

- Perform technology risk assessments while ensuring adherence to enterprise security and data protection standards.

- Mentor development teams and promote engineering excellence across projects.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 9+ years of overall IT experience with 3- 5 years in a Technical Architect role.

- Strong hands-on expertise in the MERN Stack :

1. MongoDB

2. Express.js

3. React.js

4. Node.js

- Experience designing enterprise-scale web and mobile application architectures.

- Strong understanding of :

1. Microservices Architecture

2. API-First Architecture

3. Event-Driven Architecture

4. Headless Architecture

- Experience building Cloud-Native SaaS and custom enterprise applications.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, backend integrations, and scalable application design.

- Experience presenting architecture decisions and technical documentation to senior stakeholders.

- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, and similar collaboration tools.

- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Solutions Architect or Microsoft Azure Architecture Certification.

- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.

- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.

- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native deployment strategies.
