Role Overview :

As a Senior Penetration Testing Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our global infrastructure by identifying and mitigating complex security vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to conduct deep-dive security assessments across diverse environments, ranging from cloud-native applications to intricate network architectures. Your work directly influences the security posture of our platforms, ensuring that our systems remain resilient against evolving cyber threats while maintaining the trust of our global user base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Execute comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across web applications, APIs, and network infrastructure to identify critical security gaps.

- Lead the end-to-end VAPT lifecycle, from initial scoping and reconnaissance to exploitation and detailed remediation reporting for stakeholders.

- Collaborate with software development teams to provide actionable security guidance, ensuring that security best practices are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Develop custom scripts and automation tools to streamline security testing processes and improve the efficiency of vulnerability detection.

- Analyze complex network traffic and system logs using tools like Wireshark to investigate potential security incidents and identify anomalous patterns.

- Mentor junior team members by sharing technical expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and security awareness.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in performing advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments with a deep understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and common attack vectors.

- Proven ability to navigate and secure Linux-based environments and complex network architectures.

- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python to automate security tasks and enhance testing capabilities.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical vulnerabilities into clear, business-focused risk assessments for non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to information security.

- Hold a professional certification such as CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent, reflecting a high standard of ethical hacking and security knowledge.
