VUPICO - Senior AI Consultant - Java

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Java with AI Consultant with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AI/ML integrations, with the ability to architect scalable solutions and provide thought leadership in emerging AI-driven technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and development of Java-based enterprise applications with AI/ML capabilities.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.

- Build and integrate AI/ML models into existing Java applications.

- Develop APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful standards.

- Provide technical consultancy on AI adoption, architecture, and best practices.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.

- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.

- Stay updated with emerging AI frameworks, LLMs, and Java ecosystems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.

- Strong experience in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, or similar).

- Experience integrating AI models into enterprise applications.

- Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Familiarity with Agentic AI, LLM integration, and prompt engineering is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and consulting skills.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have :

- Experience with MLOps, AI model deployment, and fine-tuning.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Exposure to data engineering tools (Kafka, Spark, Airflow).
