Voice Network Operations Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Voice Network Operations Engineer to support, maintain, and optimise our voice and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking operations, VoIP technologies, Linux systems, and DevOps tools. Experience with Cisco BroadWorks is highly preferred.

Responsibilities :

- Manage day-to-day network operations with a focus on voice infrastructure and service availability.

- Troubleshoot VoIP/Voice network issues, including SIP call flows, voice quality, routing failures, and SBC-related problems.

- Perform production deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes with adherence to change management processes.

- Monitor network performance, analyse logs, and resolve incidents in a timely manner.

- Work with Linux-based systems for configuration, troubleshooting, and automation tasks.

- Utilise DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.) to support deployments and automation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and reliability of voice services.

- Generate technical documentation, SOPs, and post-incident reports.

- Provide on-call support for high-priority production issues.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in Networking Operations / NOC / Voice Support roles.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols : TCP/IP, SIP, RTP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF.

- Hands-on experience in Voice Network troubleshooting (VoIP, SIP, SBC, call flows).

- Experience with production deployments, incident management, and root cause analysis.

- Practical experience working with Linux environments.

- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.

- Experience with Cisco BroadWorks (AS/NS/BS/Provisioning).

- Exposure to telecom environments, OSS/BSS, or VoIP service provider architecture.

- Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python) for automation.

- Understanding of monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, etc.
