Role : VMware Aria Automation Engineer

Role Summary :

We are looking for a skilled VMware Aria Automation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation solutions using VMware Aria Automation (vRA)/vRO). The role involves managing infrastructure automation, workflow development, and integration with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Should have good communication skills in English to interact directly with the customer. Should have proper email etiquettes.

- To provide technical support to clients at all times and must respond promptly to issues reported by clients.

- Strong hands-on experience in VMware Aria Automation (vRA) / vRealize Automation

- Experience with vRealize Orchestrator (vRO)

- Good understanding of :

1. VMware vSphere / ESXi

2. NSX (basic networking concepts)

- Scripting knowledge :

1. JavaScript (for vRO)

2. PowerShell / Python

- Experience in REST API integrations

- Knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow)

- Understanding of cloud and automation concepts

- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)

- Knowledge of Ansible / Terraform

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git)

- Basic knowledge of containers (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Design and implement automation solutions using VMware Aria Automation (vRA)

- Develop and manage blueprints, catalogs, and workflows for infrastructure provisioning

- Handle BAU activities including incident management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

- Integrate vRA with tools such as :

1. VMware vCenter

2. NSX

3. Active Directory

4. REST APIs / third-party tools

- Automate provisioning for :

1. Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux)

2. Network components

3. Storage resources

- Develop and maintain custom workflows using :

1. vRealize Orchestrator (vRO)

2. JavaScript / scripting

- Work on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform optional)

- Monitor and optimize automation workflows and system performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Network, Security, DevOps)

- Participate in KT sessions, documentation, and process improvements

Additional Qualification / Soft Skills :

- Strong Knowledge on Monitoring tools like Grafana is an added advantage.

- VMWARE Aria Automation/vRA certifications are an added advantage.

- Hands-on experience with PowerShell /Java scripting & Ansible automation

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and documentation skills.
