The Opportunity :

We are seeking a Backend Technical Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of robust backend systems.

The role requires deep expertise in server-side technologies, microservices architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud-native solutions.

What Youll Be Doing :

- Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise applications.

- Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and integration patterns.

- Lead backend technical strategy, system design, and technology selection.

- Collaborate closely with frontend architects, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Establish best practices for code quality, security, testing, and performance optimization.

- Mentor and guide backend developers, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.

- Drive modernization initiatives including cloud migration, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.

- Evaluate and incorporate emerging backend technologies and frameworks.

What We Want From You :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 10+ years of backend software development experience.

- 4+ years in a technical architect role focusing on backend systems.

- Expertise in Java or other server-side technologies.

- Strong experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.

- Solid understanding of security best practices, authentication, and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT).

- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

If You Know Some Of This Even Better :

- Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming platforms.

- Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).

- Exposure to GraphQL APIs.

- Familiarity with serverless computing and cloud-native design patterns.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
