Virtusa - Informatica MDM Developer

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica MDM, Master Data Management, Informatica PowerCenter, data integration, and data governance. The role will involve designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise MDM solutions while working closely with business, data, and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Informatica MDM solutions based on business and technical requirements.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable MDM data models, workflows, integrations, and technical solutions.

- Develop and maintain Informatica MDM components supporting master data management, data quality, governance, matching, and data consolidation.

- Develop and maintain complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter for MDM-related data integration processes.

- Design and maintain mappings, transformations, routing rules, sessions, workflows, and related PowerCenter components.

- Support data ingestion, validation, transformation, standardization, and synchronization across source and target systems.

- Implement and support data governance, data quality, validation, and master-data standards.

- Work with business and technical teams to identify data issues, define remediation approaches, and improve master-data quality.

- Troubleshoot MDM, ETL, integration, workflow, and data-quality issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, production support, and post-release stabilization activities.

- Optimize MDM and PowerCenter workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Develop technical specifications, mappings, data-flow documentation, test cases, and deployment documentation.

- Participate in code/configuration reviews and ensure adherence to development and MDM best practices.

- Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, application teams, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions.

- Support large-scale MDM programs involving multiple systems, domains, and stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of MDM processes, reusable components, data quality, and integration frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7 - 10 years of experience in Master Data Management, Informatica MDM development, data integration, or related data engineering roles.

- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica MDM.

- Strong understanding of Master Data Management concepts, data governance, data quality, and master-data lifecycle management.

- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.

- Strong knowledge of PowerCenter components including Mappings, Transformations, Sessions, Workflows, and Routing Rules.

- Experience developing and supporting complex ETL workflows for enterprise data integration.

- Good understanding of MDM architecture, data models, data domains, and integration patterns.

- Experience with data validation, standardization, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality processes.

- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

- Experience troubleshooting MDM, ETL, workflow, and production issues.

- Experience with testing, deployment, release management, and production support.

- Proven experience working on large-scale enterprise projects with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a complex enterprise environment.
