We are looking for a hands-on Java Full Stack Engineering Leader at the Vice President level who can contribute as an individual contributor while driving high-impact engineering outcomes. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys coding, designing scalable systems, and working on complex enterprise applications. The position requires deep expertise in backend and frontend technologies, along with strong exposure to modern architecture patterns and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java (version 17 or above), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

- They will work extensively on building REST APIs and designing distributed systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and resilience.

The role involves hands-on frontend development using Angular (version 16 or above) or React, ensuring seamless integration with backend services. The candidate will actively contribute to coding, with approximately 80 percent of the role focused on hands-on development.

They will design system architecture, apply best practices in system design and design patterns, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code. The role also includes working on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.

The candidate will contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and optimization using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, participate in technical discussions, and drive engineering excellence while ensuring timely delivery.

Required Skills :

- The candidate must have strong expertise in Java (version 17 or above), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, distributed systems, and system design is essential.

- They should have solid experience in frontend development using Angular (version 16 or above) or React.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required, along with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions is necessary.

- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases is expected.

Experience Required :

- The candidate should have 12 to 18 years of overall experience with a strong hands-on coding background.

- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain is preferred.

- Exposure to event-driven architecture using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ will be an added advantage.
