Job Overview :

The VP, IAM Engineering is a mid-senior leadership hands-on role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, implementation, and management of the organization's authentication and access programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant identity and access management processes. The VP will work closely with cross-functional teams to align Authentication & access strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements, driving innovation and continuous improvement in login and access.

Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Leadership :

- Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM Auth & access strategy that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and improvements in auth and access processes.

- Define and communicate the strategic direction for auth and access initiatives across the organization.

2. Authentication & Access Program Management :

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of auth and access solutions, including login, authorization etc.

- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of auth and access systems.

- Lead the integration of auth and access solutions with other IT and business systems.

3. Team Leadership and Development :

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing auth and access team.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with IT, HR, Compliance, and other departments to ensure seamless auth and access processes.

- Engage with senior management and key stakeholders to communicate auth and access strategies and progress.

- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners related to auth and access solutions.

5. Risk Management and Compliance :

- Ensure auth and access practices comply with relevant regulations and standards.

- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits of auth and access systems and processes.

- Develop and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks.

6. Process Improvement and Innovation :

- Continuously evaluate and improve auth and access policies, procedures, and technologies.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in auth and access and cybersecurity.

- Drive the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies in auth and access.

7. Budget and Resource Management :

- Develop and manage the auth and access budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

- Optimize the use of tools, technologies, and personnel to achieve auth and access objectives.

Requirements :

- Minimum of 10 years in IT or cybersecurity with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on Auth/IAM.

- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with auth and access solutions such as, ForgeRock Cloud.

- Minimum 5 years of working and managing of ForgeRock or Okta or Entra ID platform mandatory.

- Minimum 5 years of solution design, integration architecture, technical development, and deployment experience of auth and access solutions and products preferably ForgeRock or Okta or Entra ID.

- Experience in installing, configuring, customizing and performance tuning of ForgeRock.

Preferences :

- Working knowledge of DevOps (Octopus, GitHub).
