Design Verification Engineer (35 Years)

About the Role :

VeriFast Technologies is looking for experienced Design Verification Engineers to join our growing semiconductor team in Ahmedabad.

If you have 35 years of hands-on experience in ASIC verification and strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, we need IP/sub-system verification experience with understanding of I2C, micro controller communication and power electronics.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance SystemVerilog/UVM-based verification environments for ASIC, subsystem, and IP-level verification.

- Design and implement verification testbenches from scratch.

- Integrate DUTs into verification environments and execute comprehensive verification plans.

- Perform functional verification using coverage-driven methodologies.

- Debug RTL, testbench, and simulation issues to achieve verification closure.

- Develop regression strategies and improve verification automation.

- Collaborate closely with architecture, and design teams throughout the development lifecycle.

- Contribute to verification methodology improvements and mentor junior engineers when required.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in ASIC Design Verification.

- Strong expertise in :

1. SystemVerilog (SV)

2. UVM Methodology

3. Constrained Randomization and Coverage-Driven Verification

4. SystemVerilog Assertion (SVA)

- Hands-on experience in :

1. ASIC - Subsystem, or IP Verification

2. Testbench development from scratch

3. DUT integration and verification environment development

- Experience with industry-standard EDA tools from Cadence or Synopsys.

- Good scripting skills using one or more of the following:

1. Shell Scripting

2. Makefile

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with any of the following will be an added advantage:

1. Functional Coverage and Constrained Random Verification

2. Analog mixed single (AMS) verification

3. Assertion-Based Verification (SVA)

4. Regression automation and scripting

5. Commercial simulators such as VCS / Xcelium

6. Performance optimization and verification infrastructure development
