VAYUZ Technologies - Java Developer - Microservices Architecture

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices solutions.

- Build and integrate services leveraging Kafka for real-time event streaming.

- Participate in solution design discussions, ensuring scalable and robust architecture.

- Handle end-to-end deployment of applications into production environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices, code reviews, and design improvements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with quick turnaround.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10- 12 years of overall software development experience with strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17).

- Proven expertise in Microservices design, development, integration, and deployment.

- Hands-on knowledge of Apache Kafka (topics, producers, consumers, partitions, replication).

- Experience in production deployments and managing distributed applications.

- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable solutions.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

- Exposure to domain-driven design (DDD).
