Varahe Analytics - Lead Data Analyst

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst to guide our data analytics team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will be responsible for overseeing data collection, analysis, and reporting efforts, transforming raw data into actionable insights that support strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement data collection systems, data analytics strategies, and reporting tools.

- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements.

- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

- Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analytics processes.

- Guide the team in using statistical methods, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.

- Establish best practices for data governance, documentation, and quality assurance.

- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

- Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive analytics.

- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing solutions.

- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

- Experience with cloud platforms and big data technologies (AWS, Azure, Hadoop, Spark) is a bonus
