About the Role Engineering Lead :

We're looking for an Engineering Lead who can own, architect, and scale our core technology stack. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into business problems and full ownership of engineering execution.

Responsibilities :

- Own the design, architecture, and scalability of the backend and data infrastructure

- Lead a small but strong engineering team including mentoring junior developers and conducting reviews

- Translate product and analytical needs into robust, secure, and scalable code

- Collaborate closely with product managers, supply chain experts, and data scientists

- Define and maintain engineering standards, testing protocols, CI/CD, and best practices

- Be hands-on : write, test, and deploy production-quality code as needed

- Evaluate and integrate tools, open-source libraries, and cloud services

Tech Stack :

- Languages : Python

- Frameworks : Flask / FastAPI

- Database : PostgreSQL (with advanced SQL usage), Redis

- Infra : AWS, GitHub Actions, Docker

- Frontend : React.js

Requirements :

- 5 to 8 years of full-time software development experience with a strong backend focus

- Deep expertise in Python + SQL must be comfortable working with data-heavy logic

- Proven experience building and deploying scalable B2B web applications

- Strong grasp of system design, cloud architecture, and DevOps basics

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and taking ownership

- Experience with mentoring or leading small teams

- Bonus : Experience in analytics / AI-powered products / SaaS / B2B tools
