Technical Architect (Firmware Development, HDD, SATA, SAS)

Experience : 10 to 15 years of Embedded development experience with a minimum of 4 years experience in HDD Firmware and associated Development.

Summary :

- Will be responsible for the Development and verification of HDD Firmware for HDDs of Different technologies.

- Should be able to independently Develop and also lead a team of high-performing FW engineers.

HDD Development Skill set :

- Strong understanding of SAS/ SATA protocol Specifications and Generic HDD concepts/ technologies.

- HDD FW Design and Development experience including verification (minimum 4 years).

- Strong understanding of complete Data flow through different blocks of the Firmware.

- Ability to profile and identify performance bottlenecks, optimize code/design to achieve performance/memory targets.

Generic Skill Set :

- Driver/ Firmware Development experience on Embedded systems.

- Excellent hands-on Embedded C programming skills with Data structures.

- Strong hands-on debugging skills on the actual HW platform. Ability to Analyze Complex Firmware and HW issues.

- Ability to study and understand HW specifications, Attitude to learn and contribute quickly, Proactive and self-motivated in day-to-day tasks.

- Excellent Oral and written communication skills.

Requirements :

- 10+ years of work experience with Embedded C.

- 8+ years of work experience with Serial ATA (SATA).

- 10+ years of work experience with Firmware.
