Tiger Analytics - Senior Data Engineer - SQL/ETL

About the role :

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work to solve organizational data management problems to enable a data-driven organization. You will seamlessly switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member, and Data Modeling lead to define, design, and deliver actionable insights.

What you will do :

- Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.

- Create and maintain Logical Data Models (LDM) and Physical Data Models (PDM) using best practices.

- Contribute to Data Modeling accelerators and publish Data Dictionaries.

- Create and maintain Source to Target Data Mapping documents including entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules.

- Maintain data models and capture models from existing databases.

- Use Data Modelling tools to create appropriate models and maintain versions using version control.

- Contribute to building data warehouses and data marts on Cloud while performing data profiling and quality analysis.

- Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and develop data extraction and integration code modules.

- Partner with data engineers to strategize ingestion logic and consumption patterns.

Expertise and Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in the Data space.

- Strong SQL skills.

- Significant experience in one or more RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server).

- Experience working in OLAP & OLTP database models (Dimensional models).

- Good understanding of Star schema, Snowflake schema, and Data Vault Modelling.

- Experience with ETL tools, Data Governance, and Data quality.

- Ability to analyze data and comfort with Agile methodology.

- Understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS & GCP) is preferred.
