Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Threat Hunter with strong expertise in proactive and hypothesis-driven threat hunting to identify, investigate and mitigate advanced cyber threats across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in identifying suspicious activities, analysing threat patterns, investigating security incidents and proactively hunting for potential threats that may bypass traditional security controls.

The candidate must have strong knowledge of threat hunting methodologies, hypothesis development, threat intelligence and security analytics, along with the ability to identify emerging attack techniques and strengthen the organisation's overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct proactive and hypothesis-driven threat hunting activities across enterprise IT environments.

- Develop and validate threat hunting hypotheses based on threat intelligence, attacker behaviour and emerging attack patterns.

- Identify indicators of compromise (IOCs), suspicious activities and potential security threats.

- Investigate advanced persistent threats (APTs), malicious activities and sophisticated attack techniques.

- Analyse security telemetry, endpoint data, network traffic and system logs to identify potential threats.

- Perform threat investigations using MITRE ATT&CK framework and map observed activities to adversary tactics and techniques.

- Collaborate with SOC, Incident Response and Security Operations teams to investigate and respond to identified threats.

- Use security monitoring and analytics tools to detect threats that may bypass traditional security solutions.

- Document threat hunting findings, investigation reports and recommended mitigation strategies.

- Continuously improve threat hunting methodologies, detection logic and security monitoring capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3 - 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Threat Hunting or Security Operations.

- Mandatory hands-on experience in Threat Hunting.

- Strong experience in hypothesis-driven and proactive threat hunting.

- Ability to develop, investigate and validate threat hunting hypotheses.

- Understanding of cyberattack techniques, attacker behaviour and threat intelligence.

- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attack methodologies.

- Experience analysing endpoint, network and security logs.

- Understanding of Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), Indicators of Attack (IOAs) and threat detection techniques.

- Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel or IBM QRadar.

- Familiarity with EDR/XDR tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender or SentinelOne.

- Knowledge of endpoint forensics, malware analysis and incident response.

- Experience with KQL, SPL or other query languages used for security investigations.

- Understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and advanced persistent threats.
