Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Tenable Engineer with strong expertise in Vulnerability Management, Security Operations, and Cloud Security.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing Tenable solutions, identifying security vulnerabilities, driving remediation efforts, and strengthening the organization's overall security posture across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, configure, and maintain Tenable platforms including Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, and Nessus.

- Manage the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and reporting.

- Conduct vulnerability assessments across on-premises, cloud, network, server, and endpoint environments.

- Integrate Tenable solutions with enterprise systems such as CMDB, ITSM tools, cloud platforms, and security monitoring solutions.

- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security Operations, and Application teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

- Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide visibility into organizational risk exposure.

- Support vulnerability governance programs and ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

- Perform root cause analysis and recommend mitigation strategies for identified risks.

- Automate vulnerability management processes and reporting wherever applicable.

- Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

Required Skills :

- 7 to 9 years of overall IT/Security experience.

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Vulnerability Management.

Proven hands-on expertise with :

1. Tenable.io

2. Tenable.sc

3. Nessus

4. Vulnerability Assessment & Management

- Strong understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle.

Experience integrating Tenable with :

1. CMDB Platforms

2. ITSM Tools

3. Security Tools

4. Automation Platforms

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms :

1. Amazon Web Services (AWS)

2. Microsoft Azure

3. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Strong knowledge of vulnerability remediation processes and risk prioritization.

Technical Expertise :

- Network Architecture and Security

- Cloud Security

- Endpoint Security

- Identity and Access Management (IAM)

- Security Risk Assessment

- Security Compliance and Governance

- Threat and Exposure Management

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industries.

- Knowledge of SIEM and Security Operations Center (SOC) processes.

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell Scripting.

Familiarity with compliance standards such as :

1. ISO 27001

2. NIST

3. PCI-DSS

4. CIS Controls

- Experience with automation and orchestration tools.

Qualification :
