Techno-Functional Odoo Developer

2. Key Responsibilities :

- Requirement Gathering & Analysis

- Interact with clients to understand workflows and pain points.

- Map business processes into Odoo standard flows.

- Odoo Functional Setup

- Configure Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, MRP, HR, etc.).

- Manage security, user roles, workflows, and reporting.

- Customization & Development

- Develop custom Odoo apps/modules.

- Extend existing functionality (models, views, reports).

- Work with APIs, integrations (payment, shipping, third-party apps).

- Technical Support & Debugging

- Analyze issues, identify whether they are functional (config) or technical (code).

- Fix bugs in both configuration and code level.

- Training & Documentation

- Train end-users and key users.

- Prepare technical/functional documentation.

- Project Coordination

- Communicate between business stakeholders and technical developers.

- Help with deployment and post-go-live support."

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong knowledge of Python (Odoo ORM).

- JavaScript (Owl framework, web assets).

- PostgreSQL (queries, optimization).

- Odoo.sh / Docker / Git.

- REST API, JSON-RPC integrations."

Functional Skills Required :

- Deep understanding of business processes in :

- Ability to do Odoo module configuration without coding.

- Knowledge of accounting principles (taxes, multi-currency, consolidation).

- Documentation and training skills."

Additional Skills Required :

- Proven work experience as a Odoo Developer

- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

- Proven track record of working on complex enterprise solutions

- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives

- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner

- Solid technical background/knowledge with understanding and/or hands-on experience in ERP

Development.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Willingness to travel

- Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably with a numeracy base"
