Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tech Team Lead to join our growing team at Savishty. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a team of at least 4 - 5 developers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will play a pivotal role in driving project success and ensuring high-quality deliverables on time.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership & Management :

- Lead a team of 4+ developers, ensuring clear communication and task delegation.

- Mentor and guide team members in their technical and professional growth.

- Foster a collaborative, productive, and innovative environment within the team.

- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and team retrospectives to track progress and resolve issues.

- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Project Planning & Execution :

- Oversee the successful execution of projects, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.

- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines.

- Break down complex projects into manageable tasks and assign them to the team based on skill sets.

- Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Technical Leadership :

- Ensure that best practices and coding standards are followed by the team.

- Review and approve code to maintain high-quality output.

- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and evaluate how they can be incorporated into projects.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges that arise during development.

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with other teams (e.g., design, product, QA) to ensure seamless project delivery.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and potential roadblocks.

Team Development :

- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.

- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

- Help identify growth opportunities for team members and assist in career planning.

Minimum Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in software development (preferably in the MERN stack, or other relevant technologies).

- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role, managing teams of 4 or more developers.

- Proven track record of successfully leading software development projects.

- Strong technical expertise in web technologies, including JavaScript, Node.js, React, and MongoDB (or equivalent technologies).

- Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and project management tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to mentor others in complex technical challenges.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).

- Familiarity with testing frameworks and writing unit tests.
