Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Manager - Information Security with deep expertise in Proxy technologies and Zscaler security solutions. The role involves leading security design, implementation, and operations for secure internet access, cloud security, and enterprise network protection. The candidate will manage technical teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Lead the design, implementation, and management of secure web gateway (SWG) and proxy-based security solutions across the enterprise.

- Architect and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) implementations.

- Act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for Information Security and Proxy technologies.

- Guide teams on best practices for cloud and network security.

Security Operations & Management :

- Oversee day-to-day security operations related to internet access, threat prevention, and data protection.

- Ensure secure access to applications and data using Zero Trust principles.

- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents related to proxy and web security platforms.

- Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and remediation plans.

Team & Stakeholder Management :

- Manage, mentor, and review performance of a team of security engineers.

- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams.

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand security requirements and align solutions.

- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for upgrades and issue resolutions.

Compliance & Governance :

- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.

- Support audits and governance activities related to information security.

- Maintain security documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated on emerging security threats, proxy technologies, and Zscaler enhancements.

- Drive automation and optimization of security processes.

- Recommend new tools and improvements to strengthen enterprise security posture.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in Information Security, especially Web Security and Proxy Solutions

- Hands-on expertise in :

1. Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)

2. Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)

3. Secure Web Gateways (SWG)

- In-depth understanding of :

1. Network security concepts (Firewall, VPN, SSL, TLS)

2. Authentication mechanisms (SAML, OAuth, MFA)

3. Cloud security and Zero Trust architecture

- Experience with incident response, security monitoring, and risk mitigation

- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC, etc.) is a plus

Required Soft Skills :

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

- Problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, enterprise environment

Preferred Qualifications :

- Zscaler certifications or other security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) - preferred

- Experience managing large-scale enterprise security deployments

- Prior experience in cloud-first or hybrid environments
