Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong expertise in .NET technologies, API architecture, and OAuth. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, drive technical excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance API solutions. Prior experience in the insurance domain is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+.

- Architect and implement API Gateway solutions using Ocelot for microservices-based systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, and DevOps to define robust technical solutions.

- Ensure adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to drive team growth.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the API ecosystem.

- Continuously improve API performance, scalability, and security.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.

Qualifications & Skills :

Mandatory :

- 8+ years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.

- Strong expertise in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and RESTful API development.

- Hands-on experience with API security standards such as OAuth2, JWT.

- Proficient in API architecture and design principles.

- Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Ocelot API Gateway and microservices architecture.

- Exposure to AWS, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Domain Experience : Prior experience in the Insurance domain is highly desirable.
