Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly driven and technically strong Tech Lead to join the Engineering Team at Impacteers. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions across our platform.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to translate business and product requirements into practical technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on development expertise, system design maturity, leadership capability, and an ownership mindset.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the technical planning, architecture, and execution of product features across backend, frontend, APIs, and platform systems.

- Translate product and business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and technically sound solutions.

- Collaborate closely with product, design, engineering, and business teams to define implementation approaches and release plans.

- Own technical quality across assigned modules including performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.

- Guide engineers through code reviews, architecture discussions, debugging, implementation planning, and delivery execution.

- Break down complex technical challenges into actionable engineering plans and milestones.

- Contribute hands-on to development for high-impact and foundational engineering work.

- Improve engineering standards, development processes, documentation, and release practices.

- Ensure smooth integration across frontend systems, backend services, databases, APIs, AI systems, and third-party platforms.

- Identify technical risks proactively and propose practical solutions or phased execution approaches.

- Contribute to AI-enabled product development, intelligent workflows, automation systems, and scalable integrations.

- Work closely with teams to convert AI capabilities into production-ready technical solutions.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

- 5-8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Backend Development, Full-Stack Development, or Platform Engineering.

- Prior experience leading engineering teams, modules, technical workstreams, or product pods.

- Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on development expertise.

- Experience designing and building scalable web applications, APIs, distributed systems, and data-driven platforms.

- Strong understanding of system design, database architecture, API design, and integration patterns.

- Ability to review code, mentor engineers, debug complex issues, and maintain engineering quality.

- Comfortable working in fast-paced and evolving environments with changing priorities.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of AI-enabled systems, automation workflows, and platform reliability considerations.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, React.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technology stacks.

- Experience building SaaS platforms, HR Tech, EdTech, Career Tech, Hiring Platforms, or Workflow Automation systems.

- Experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and production support environments.

- Strong understanding of security, authentication, authorization, performance optimization, and scalable architecture practices.

- Experience integrating AI APIs, LLM workflows, automation systems, third-party APIs, or data pipelines.

- Experience mentoring engineers and improving engineering best practices.

- Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Postman, Figma, Notion, CI/CD tools, and observability platforms.

- Interest in emerging AI technologies, developer tools, and future-of-work product ecosystems.
