Responsibilities :

- Be the CTO's Engineering Partner : Own implementation, architecture, and debugging responsibilities across our stack.

- Customer-Facing Problem Solver : Collaborate directly with customers, investigate issues, and resolve them hands-on.

- Product-Driven Engineering : Contribute to product thinking, helping translate vague problems into scalable solutions.

- Mentor & Lead by Example : Guide junior engineers, unblock them, and set high engineering standards.

- Champion AI-First Practices : Use LLMs for coding, debugging, testing, and internal automation. Actively shape our internal AI workflows.

- Explore & Experiment : Rapidly prototype, test new tools, and adopt emerging technologies to maintain a cutting-edge engineering environment.

- Work Across the Stack : Backend-heavy role, with an emphasis on Java, plus comfort in other languages (Python, JS/TS, etc.

Requirements :

- 4-8 years of hands-on engineering experience in backend or full-stack roles.

- Strong expertise in Java, plus familiarity with one or more of : Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, etc.

- Experience building or scaling a product either at a startup or a product-focused company.

- AI Fluency : Comfortable using LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc. for development tasks, prompt tuning, and workflow automation.

- Strong debugging skills with a methodical approach to solving customer-facing issues.

- Ability to break down complex technical problems and explain them simply.

- Proactive attitude with a go-getter mindsetyou look for problems and solve them without waiting for instructions.

- Comfortable working in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments
