About the Role :

We are hiring a Technical Lead to drive the development of next-generation FinOps for AI products focused on AI cost visibility, optimization, and commitment management across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll define architecture, lead a team of engineers, build large-scale backend systems, and deliver customer-facing products that help organizations optimize AI infrastructure spend across LLMs, GPU workloads, and cloud AI services.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership :

- Define architecture and technical direction for AI FinOps products.

- Design scalable systems for AI cost ingestion, analytics, optimization, and reporting.

- Drive architecture reviews, technical decisions, and roadmap execution.

- Balance feature delivery, scalability, and technical debt.

2. Hands-On Development :

- Build backend services using Java (Spring Boot).

- Develop APIs and integrations with AI providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and Google Vertex AI.

- Design large-scale data pipelines and analytics systems.

- Optimize Snowflake and large-scale data processing workloads.

- Contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript when needed.

3. Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers.

- Conduct design reviews and code reviews.

- Drive engineering productivity and adoption of AI-assisted development tools.

- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Platform teams.

4. Delivery & Operations :

- Ensure reliability, scalability, and quality of production systems.

- Establish CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and operational best practices.

- Manage technical risks and execution timelines.

Required Skills :

1. Core Engineering :

- 6-10+ years of software engineering experience.

- 2+ years of technical leadership experience.

- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.

- Experience designing and operating production SaaS platforms.

2. Cloud & Data :

- Strong AWS experience (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SageMaker, Bedrock).

- Working knowledge of Azure and GCP.

- Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar data warehouses.

- Expertise in large-scale data processing and ETL pipelines.

3. Frontend :

- Experience with React and TypeScript preferred.

4. AI & LLM Platforms :

- Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, or Vertex AI.

- Understanding of AI usage analytics, token economics, prompt optimization, or LLM operations is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- FinOps or Cloud Cost Optimization experience.

- Airflow, Spark, EMR, or large-scale data engineering platforms.

- Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, MySQL.

- Kubernetes and containerized deployments.

- Experience building AI-native engineering workflows using GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools.
